Tanzania halts a rescue mission following a boat accident

According to authorities, the rescue mission in Tanzania’s boat accident has been called off after all persons have been accounted for.

The total number of fatalities has been estimated at ten, with ten survivors. All those who perished have been laid to rest.

There have been no reports of missing persons filed thus far.

Kasim Khalfan, the divers’ team leader, says there is no evidence of missing persons in the water.

According to survivors, the engine shut down twice before the boat began sinking.

Amour Nassor, who was on the boat, claims he saw his nephew plead for assistance before he died.

Local residents are dissatisfied with the rescue unit’s tardy response, despite their base’s proximity to the scene. According to eyewitnesses, the majority of survivors were rescued by local divers.
